Hi there! My name is Peg, a.k.a Sketchy P.
Sketchy P is a nickname that stuck after making handmade cards for my fiancé.
I ‘ve been surrounded by artists on both sides of my family and always have found painting and sketching to be a retreat from a busy life. I am originally from Benicia, a small town on the water in the San Francisco Bay Area. Now, I am living in Venice with my husband and our dog, Lettux. My “Studio” is where I get the best light early in the morning, which also just so happens to be my coffee table in the living room.
I enjoy painting using acrylics with Lettux by my side. I pick my palette and go from there. I don’t plan out what a painting will look like. Instead, I follow my paintbrush and create colorful and impactful mini-pieces.
